Not a lot to report today as it was Xmas Day. We had the usual opening of presents in the morning followed by a Xmas buffet lunch at the Wort Hotel in the center of Jackson. The hotel is a historic landmark and over 100 years old. Quite a nice setting for lunch, and even though it was busy, it didn’t take long to get some of the food which included roast meats, seafood (shrimps and Alaskan King Crab), veges, and of course desert.
After lunch we had a short stroll around town and had a photo taken in the main square under the arches made from elk antlers. A family from Alabama obliged in taking our photo. A light dinner tonight and tomorrow we have our horse-drawn sleigh ride through the National Elk Refuge.
